Day 7

Last night we were able to enjoy a little more good conversation on our front porch before turning in. Jeffery…you would be proud…I managed to silence the dogs last night…unfortunately, NOT the bears.

Day 6

So, last night did not really provide much of a lull, but we managed to get some sleep. I don’t think the bears took a break but we eventually all passed out with fatigue. We Have…Arrived

Good news though…everyone has all their personal bags and our supplies “should be” on the next flight.  Welcome back to Haiti! Read More

Last Day in Paradise

Good afternoon to all! Last night we were treated to the most beautiful sunset I think we have ever seen here (including last year). The moon was full and high in the sky as the sun was setting over the sea, creating beautiful reds, golds, violets, oranges and a steely blue on the horizon. There was a refreshing breeze and we watched makeshift kites flying alongside the moon. We even enjoyed a bowl of Jiffy Pop together (thank you Jeff and Rachel) while we looked at pictures and already began reminiscing.  Read More
